How much are your cakes?
It depends! Final cost is determined through size and design. You can see general pricing here.
Do you deliver?
Yes, but only within Chula Vista.
Wedding cakes have the option to be delivered.
Why don’t you offer cream cheese filling/fruit filling?
2nd Bite Bakery is a home based, cottage food operation. Under California CFO regulations, cream cheese and fruit items are not considered shelf stable and are therefore not able to be offered.
How far in advance do I need to order?
Custom cake orders should be placed at least 1 week in advance, but it is recommend to reach out earlier if the desired date is a weekend. No rush orders are accepted at this time.
For weddings, cakes may be reserved a few months in advance.
Where are you located?
2nd Bite Bakery is located in Chula Vista, CA 91914. Exact address is sent after deposit is confirmed.
Can you accommodate food allergies/dietary preferences?
2nd Bite Bakery is not an allergy free kitchen. Products may contain or come in contact with common allergens, such as wheat, eggs, milk, and nuts. Although there is precaution taken, there is a possibility for cross contamination. If you have a serious allergy, 2nd Bite Bakery may not be the right bakery for your cake.
Cakes cannot be made gluten free or vegan at this time.
The day I want to pick up is fully booked/unavailable. What should I do?
Cakes stay good for ~5 days uncut and refrigerated. Please consider picking up a a few days earlier if your desired day is unavailable.
